Juggling family and photography work is tricky - but I feel very lucky to have both in my life. My children make every day worthwhile, and photography is an absolute pleasure. I wish you the best of luck with your family and your photography as well.

Respectfully,
VarinaVarina Patelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09601155951068286913noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6860406122580816553.post-27307605900577416022009-03-10T09:11:00.000-04:002009-03-10T09:11:00.000-04:00Hi again, Varina.I just got mail that you`ve comme...Hi again, Varina.

I just got mail that you`ve commented on my images at my web-gallery. You really surprised me reacting so fast and taking the time responding. I am honored!
Thank you.

I must add that my wife always like to follow your work and have the deepest respect for how you manage a famlily life, with many sweet children, and yet, seem to have this energy to travel and work constantly. I am impressed too and find your blog very inspiring. We have only one 10-year old son, but after reading your blogs, we have found new ways of organizing the daily life and still get to travel and work on photography. That, amongst other qualities, is what I find very inspiring about you and Jay.
Keep up the good work.

Well...enough of this ranting..for now anyways :-)
Good luck on your seminar Varina!

Wish you peace and happiness in every breath, in every single step.

Regards
Seung Kye
Website: www.leeseungkye.com
Blog: www.seungkyelee.wordpress.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6860406122580816553.post-75594177806463275352009-03-10T08:18:00.000-04:002009-03-10T08:18:00.000-04:00Thanks so much, Seung Kye. I don't want to disturb them in any way - I find that the greatest challenge in taking a photo like this one is getting the tripod into position. The light was nice and even, and these little fellows weren't moving - so everything else was easy. :)

I love your Norwegian landscapes - I'd be happy to take another look and give you some feedback!Varina Patelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09601155951068286913noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6860406122580816553.post-49405090197755334222009-03-10T08:09:00.000-04:002009-03-10T08:09:00.000-04:00Hi Varina.I really love your work and wide, beauti...Hi Varina.

I really love your work and wide, beautiful landscapes is what I mostly what comes up in my mind thinking of Varina Patel.

But...also I`ve seen your outstanding collection of close-ups and portraits as well and many of them leave a deep impression on me.
These last images are gorgeous as to color, light and composotion.
For some reason the compositions seems a little "weightless" to me, but I guess that`s due to their natural placement and the challenge to shoot them best possible way without organizing them and disturbing their existence.

Anyway, they have your signature I can tell and think they`re very pleasing to view.
I have followed your work for some time and will definetely keep on reading your blog and looking for new images on your site.

Best regards
Seung Kye
Website: www.leeseungkye.com
Blog: www.seungkyelee.wordpress.com

*I would love if you took a look at my gallery of norwegian landscapes etc. if you have the time and tell me what you think.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6860406122580816553.post-15453736392068042902009-03-10T07:21:00.000-04:002009-03-10T07:21:00.000-04:00Thanks, Iratxe. Close the angle of view is a good choice to capture little details although is difficult to get used to see in this diferent way and to transmit with few elements all the information. I think you are in the right direction.

Best regardsAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
