So, here we are in a Super 8. Last night, we stayed at Motel 6 - but tiny little bugs were biting me all night long - which was itchy and unpleasant. So, we decided to get fancy and treat ourselves to a really nice hotel. Super 8 actually gives you shampoo, folks! And TWO miniature bars of soap. I kid you not. TWO! Next time you want to be pampered, try a Super 8!

I don't recommend Motel 6, but only because of the bugs - and the "nonsmoking" room that had clearly been smoked in - and the one tiny bar of soap that had to serve sink-side and in the shower... and ended up doing shampoo duty as well. But heck, it was cheap!

We travel a lot - we have to keep our costs low. What can you do? :)

We visited several state parks here in West Virginia, and photographed some beautiful waterfalls. I won't be processing these images on my laptop, as the monitor isn't calibrated - and it can't handle the colors anyway. Since I can't give you a photo from this trip, I'll at least give you something from W. Virginia. The falls we shot today looked absolutely NOTHING like this one. But there were pretty. :)

I am sure there is a motel in every state that has bugs of some sort.
but you would only comment on the one in West Virginia for a big HAHA
I am sick of all the stereo typing
done to the people of my state.
I know any money you make from
your West Virgina shoot will be gladly accepted by you bugs or not but as far as I am concerned don't come back.We don't need you and you are not worthy to share our beautiful State

Hello Anonymous,

First, I'd like to apologize for giving you the impression that I have anything against the beautiful state of West Virginia - or it's people. It certainly wasn't my intention to suggest that West Virgina has more buggy hotels than other states.

The first hotel we stayed in did have bugs, but the others were very nice, and the state of West Virginia is incredibly beautiful.

I moderate all comments on my blog in order to weed out spam, excessive profanity, or inappropriate comments. Since I was out of town and could not access my blogger account, I did not receive your post until moments ago. Negative posts will not be rejected unless they are completely inappropriate.

Thanks for taking the time to let me know what you think. I hope you will find my future posts about West Virginia more to your liking.
